Wow, First McDonalds in Udon Thani !

Fantastic and marvelous. This only means that all the cheap charlie foreigners can still stay fat and bloated on their piss poor pensions, and maybe the rest of us can enjoy the local buffets without getting pushed around and extracting dentures from our fists.

I know what you mean. I've been to some buffets here, but never again.

The best are always at the big Thai hotels and reasonable.

If you go to you the local small time farang bars, it's extremely bad with great clock work presentation, dirt cheap purchased food, and hoards of farangs running to the table, right at the time the clock ticks, as the adverts say.

One can tell these people have hidden feed bags around their necks, for take home extras.

It's like watching starving cattle graze on free grass.

It's so sad, pathetic, and for what?

Free buffet meals, means it sucks! It's a stupid idea so far. No wonder Thais win in the restaurant industry here.

If you want a great meal here, pay for it, at a Thai establishment.

There is only two ways to look at this. Either this town is doing well, or it's becoming just like the rest.
