According to the Board of Directors of Central Pattana Public Company Limited ("the Company") meeting No.6/2010 on September 30, 2010, the Board of Directors has approved a budget of approximately Baht 2,125 million for the renovation and expansion of CentralPlaza Udonthani project. Details are as follows:
1) Existing Building : Renovation of the common area and landscape
2) New Building : Construction of a 5-storey shopping complex and additional parking building, which
will be connected to the existing building.
After the renovation and the expansion, the gross floor area of the shopping center and parking building will be approximately 110,000 sq.m. (78,500 sq.m. of salable area) and 68,500 sq.m. (2,000 vehicles) respectively. The construction is expected to be completed within 18 months, starting from 4Q/2010 to 2Q/2012.
The total investment cost of this project accounts for 4.09% of the Company's total assets according to the consolidated financial statement as at June 30, 2010. By considering the accumulated transactions value of acquisition and disposal of assets for the last six months, this transaction will not be considered as transactions under the Notification of the Capital Market Supervisory Board Tor.Jor. 20/2551 regarding Disclosure of Information and Other Acts of Listed Companies concerning the Acquisition and Disposition of Assets and the Notification of the Board of Governors of the SET Re: Disclosure of Information and Other Acts of Listed Companies Concerning the Acquisition and Disposition of Assets, 2004.
