The Lomdow Resort, Bungalow Retreat

More Udon Thani is proud to be the first to introduce Nong Sung's latest establishment.

The Lomdow Resort is Udon Thani's newest Resort getaway, nestled south of Udon Thani, 15 minutes away, just far enough from the city, but just close enough.

Lomdow is a Thai owned and operated bungalow resort, the third and largest resort in the rice farming community of Nong Sung, 16 km on the main freeway right side leading to Kohn Kaen and Bangkok.

Currently Lomdow is in it's final stages of construction, but is open. The grand opening will be on Valentines Day February 14 2010.

There are 25 bungalows complete with more to come. Rates are 800 baht per night, and monthly rates are 10,500 baht.

This is a guarded and fully enclosed resort offering live music, restaurants serving Thai and western food.

There is also an outdoor beer garden, man made river way, fountains and tropical gardens to relax, sit and enjoy. Lomdow also has the largest swimming pool in Nong Sung, to take the heat off.

I checked this place out, and not too bad, and it's a huge plot of land. Once the vegetation comes about, it should look much nicer. Staff was friendly enough to give a decent tour.

I would recommend the wooden bungalows.
